Getting Six Perks in Multiplayer Mode!

Unlike Zombies, where you can acquire six perks through upgrades and additional equipment, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer offers a different approach. The perk system works through your Perk Packages, which allow you to equip different sets of perks depending on your loadout.

While Multiplayer mode doesn’t directly let you pick up six perks in a single match, there is a way to maximize your perk potential by using the right combination of gear, equipment, and strategies.

Step 1: Unlocking the Standard Three Perks

Just like in Zombies, the first three perks in Cold War Multiplayer are unlocked early. These perks allow you to customize your character’s abilities to suit your playstyle. The three core perks include:

  1. Flak Jacket – Reduces explosive damage.

  2. Tactical Mask – Protects you from flashbangs and stun grenades.

  3. Cold-Blooded – Makes you undetectable by enemy targeting systems and thermal optics.

These perks can be accessed and equipped through your class loadout.

Step 2: Utilizing the Wildcard "Perk Greed"

To unlock six perks in Multiplayer mode, you’ll need to use a Wildcard called Perk Greed. The Perk Greed Wildcard allows you to equip one extra perk from each category (Red, Blue, and Green) in addition to the standard three perks, bringing the total to six perks.

To equip this Wildcard, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Create-a-Class menu.

  2. Select the Wildcards option at the bottom of the class customization screen.

  3. Choose the Perk Greed Wildcard.

Once you have selected this Wildcard, you can equip six perks in your loadout. You will be able to mix and match perks from all categories, offering more flexibility and strategic options.

Step 3: Choosing the Right Combination of Perks

Now that you have access to six perks, it's essential to choose the right combination to suit your playstyle. Here are some examples of optimal perk combinations:

  • Aggressive Playstyle:

  • Flak Jacket (Red)

  • Tactical Mask (Blue)

  • Scavenger (Green)

  • Ghost (Red)

  • Ninja (Blue)

  • Cold-Blooded (Green)

  • Defensive Playstyle:

  • Tactical Mask (Blue)

  • Flak Jacket (Red)

  • Engineer (Green)

  • Tracker (Blue)

  • Cold-Blooded (Green)

  • Ghost (Red)

These combinations are just examples, and you should experiment with different perks to find the one that best suits your style.
